The pseudo-hexagonal 2D cells of aragonite (multiplicity = 6×) can be drawn for the prismatic {110} (left) and pinacoidal {010} (centre) forms, both parallel to its [001] zone. The pinacoidal {001} (right) form has also been added to allow comparison between these main forms. In the three drawings the scalar ratio is preserved.
