Projection of the crystal structure along [100]. The structure comprises insular as well as cyclic silicate anions (plotted in blue). Corner-, edge- and face-connected [CaO6] octa­hedra are painted green. Potassium (violet) and sodium (yellow) cations occupy voids between the [SiO4] and [CaO6] polyhedra. Bi-colored spheres indicate the mixed K–Na positions (M1 and M2). The sizes of the bi-colored segments refer to the percentages determined from the site-occupancy refinements.
