Intermolecular hydrogen bonding in 2 between the water molecules coordinated to the Na⁺ ion and the carbonyl oxygen atoms of the lattice DMF molecules. For clarity the interactions have been divided into two sections (a) and (b), only the hydrogen atoms (white) of the water molecules have been included, the disorder and the partially occupied water molecule have been omitted, and only the atoms involved in the interactions have been labeled.
